Some owners of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are having a problem in entering their passwords. Most apps and user accounts like email accounts, web accounts and other apps will require you to type in your password. It would be nice to make your passwords visible as you are typing in the characters so that you don’t miss a letter or a symbol and having to start it all over again. The good news is that there is a unique feature called “Make passwords visible” on your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus. Follow the steps to turn this feature ON.
How To Make Passwords Visible While Typing
- Navigate to the Home screen
- Click on the App menu
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Security
- Tap on Other Security Settings
- Activate the Make Passwords Visible option from its dedicated slider
- Leave the Menu and go back to the app or website where you are supposed to type the password
You will be able to see every character of the password immediately while you are typing. It will help you quickly enter the characters that are correct or fix the mistakes that you made previously on your keyboard but make sure that you’re not typing in public or there’s no one near you to look at what you’re typing.
A Note Of Caution
This is a very nice feature to have especially when entering complex passwords. Also, when trying to log in to those accounts that may lock you out after a number of failed attempts. Making passwords visible will only work while you are typing in your password. However, if you want to reveal saved passwords, then this feature definitely won’t help you. Also, remember to ensure your privacy when making your passwords visible while typing. Just as you can see your password as you enter it, so could any nosy individual who may be preening at your screen as you do so.
